Without spending months spinning your wheels, sending out résumés that will be ignored, or hitting refresh on your email, you'll learn how to position yourself and the exact steps to take to land the role you want.
Without wasting your time on the things the firm pretends matter, we'll teach you to focus on -- and improve -- the things that really do matter.
You already know that you’ll be more successful with a plan and direction than just sending out a bunch of résumés or randomly asking for the promotion you want but you might not know how to make it happen.
Wasting time networking with people who can’t give you what you need.
Wasting money on trainings taught by people who’ve never been in your shoes, coaches who didn’t make partner, or online shopping that won’t fix the dread you feel.
Snapping at your significant other, ghosting your friends, and wondering how you got here.
You’ll start with our online kick-off, where you’ll let go of the stories you’re telling yourself about your career and where you’re meant to be, reconnect with what you actually want, and leave behind the things weighing you down.
You’ll complete assessments that help you identify the areas where you can improve.
Regular trainings with your cohort will teach you the tactics you need (how to make your LinkedIn profile actually help you, who you should be networking with, how you should talk about yourself and your career, and so much more).
A combination of group and one-on-one coaching calls ensure you’ll learn from the smart, ambitious people in your cohort, while making the individual progress you want.
Our Get [Stuff] Done Days will help you turn that giant to do list into a done list.
The end result? The clarity you need to land in the role or promotion you want.
There are other programs out there for attorneys. They’re usually led by coaches who aren’t attorneys, former law firm associates who didn’t stay long (or make partner), or law firm partners without any formal coaching training. Can you learn from them? Sure. But do you have time to be someone’s guinea pig while they explore their own career direction?
Many programs have group sessions, which are great, but don’t include one-on-one coaching, or require you to add it at an extra charge. But you aren’t just like anyone else, and your career isn’t, either. The combination of included one-on-one coaching and group coaching and content ensures you can learn alongside other great people while also getting the one-on-one support you need.
It’s not enough to have a career coach tell you how to set up your résumé – you need someone to help you do it. You don’t need someone to tell you to network – you need someone to help you create your strategy and execute it. You don’t need someone to tell you to prepare for interviews or your review – you need someone to do mock interviews, to prepare you to not just get through the hard questions, but have them down cold. You don’t need someone to tell you to put together a talk or article – you need someone to walk you through it, step by step.
Future in Focus 2.0 includes everything you need to be fully prepared and land the job you want, or secure that promotion.
1 Weekend live Launch Event (Virtual)
You’ll meet your cohort, let go of the stories you’re telling yourself about your career and where you’re meant to be, reconnect with what you actually want, and leave behind the things weighing you down.
90 Minute Monthly Momentum Video Conferences
Along with your cohort, you’ll learn the tactics and strategies you need, from how to create the coherent and authentic narrative that will help you land the job or business you want and tie together all of your materials, to negotiating your compensation or splitting origination credit.
Ability to Cross Over to Other Cohort Programming
The economy isn’t static, and neither are you. The person about to make partner can be let go in an instant. The partner can decide she wants to become an entrepreneur. We invite and encourage you to take part in the other cohort’s programming, making Future in Focus 2020 2.0 more like two masterminds for the price of one.
Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQi) 2.0 Assessment & One-on-One Debrief
This scientifically validated assessment of your social and emotional strengths and weaknesses measures skills you can actually work on if you want, rather than telling you that you are or are not a certain type of person as many assessments do. The assessment and debrief alone are a $500 value.
Monthly Bonus Calls with Outside Experts
These sessions are based directly on the needs and interests of the cohort. The current Future in Focus cohort heard from experts including business development expert Heather Hubbard, legal recruiter Carolyn Aberman, entrepreneur Raleigh Williams, diversity expert and Inclusion Nation CEO Michelle Silverthorn, Dr. Chris Chroniak, a clinical psychologist and MBSR teacher who regularly works with lawyers, and more.
Get [Stuff] Done Days
These monthly blocks of focused work time will help you be more productive than you can imagine, turn that to do list into a done list, and give you the support and accountability to focus on the important rather than the urgent.
2 Private One-on-One 30 minute Coaching Sessions per Month
One size does not fit all. Through your coaching sessions, you’ll get the support and accountability you need to advance on your goals.
We don’t set up 6 months of calls, send out the calendar, and sit back. We are constantly adding new bonuses, inviting experts, and customizing to the needs of each individual and the cohort.
Bonus Calls and Additions
The current cohort has benefited from bonus calls on goal setting for a new quarter and new reality, additional group coaching sessions, the Full Focus Journal, and more. Our goal is for you to finish the program wondering why we offer a life-changing experience for such a low investment.
This bonus ensures that your LinkedIn profile, résumé, cover letter, reference sheet, and application materials are top-notch. (For those not seeking a new job, we’ll make sure your law firm and speaking bio, etc. are polished and presenting the image you want.) It also includes an additional 3 hours of coaching, which can be used for mock interviews, salary negotiation help, or anything else.
One Payment of $4950
Three Payments of $1750

The legal landscape is changing under our feet. You can wait and see what happens, or you can take ownership and get going. No one will ever care more about your career than you do.
And there’s never been a better time to take action.
Did what you were supposed to do, and never thought you’d land here.
Has found yourself laid off, furloughed, or wants to prepare for it.
Is sick of waiting for crumbs from the relationship partners while you do all the work to keep their clients happy.
Doesn’t want to sit around wondering if your hard work will pay off when it comes time for advancement decisions, and wants the confidence that comes from knowing you’ve done what’s needed to move up.
Don’t mind tolerating the job that isn’t quite right, or the life that just isn’t big enough.
Are willing to hope that things will all work out, and doesn’t want to do the work to make them work out.
Want to keep doing what they’ve always done, and don’t mind getting what they’ve always gotten.
Q: What if I don’t know whether I want to advance or change jobs?
A: This program is perfect for you, because you can take advantage of both cohorts’ programming as your needs/the economy/your interests evolve.
Q: What if I might want to leave the law?
A: No problem. With a focus on coaching lawyers, we’ve worked with many who considered leaving the law all together. Because our experience goes beyond law, we’re able work with you in a way we couldn’t if we only had experience in the legal industry.
Q: What if I can’t afford the course/program?
A: Can you afford to hope you get a new job on your own? Can you afford to leave the wrong job right after you’ve arrived, leaving a hole in your résumé you’ll be explaining for years to come? Can you afford to be passed over?
Most of our clients earn back their investment while they’re working with us, in the form of increased compensation, bonuses, or in the amount of time and energy they save on things that aren’t helping them succeed – once we help them figure out what things they actually need to focus on. And you can divide your investment into three installments.
Q: Do I need to sign up for this right now?
A: Once the program starts, we are unable to add additional people. And assuming we are able to offer in-person launch weekends for future cohorts, the investment will be substantially higher based on our clients’ results.
Q: What if I’m too busy to finish the program?
A: All of the group calls are recorded, so you can watch them at your leisure. We know you’ll make the most progress if you complete the entire program in the 6 months it is designed for, but we also know that life happens – especially for busy attorneys. That’s why you have 12 months to take full advantage of all of the components of the program.
Q: I’m not sure I’m ready for this. How will I know?
A: We don’t want members who aren’t ready for the program and all-in. That’s why we don’t just take a credit card online and start the program – we do a cohort analysis call with each person to make sure this is the right fit and to place you with a group of participants with unique compatibility with your season in your career. This isn’t about filling a program – it’s about making sure it’s the right fit for you.
Q: How will I access the program?
A: Future in Focus members have a private portal for all of the call recordings, resources, and more. Calls are all conducted on Zoom.
Q: Do I get 1:1 support?
A: Yes! Each member has 2 one-on-one coaching sessions each month, in addition to the bonus coaching hours that come as part of your bonus Résumé Redo package. You’ll receive plenty of one-on-one coaching support to make sure you are achieving your goals and getting as much support and accountability as you need. And more help from your coaches and your cohort is always available via text, email, or a post in the private Facebook group.
